It really sucks what the city did to that place. Riverside spends money to be able to serve lunch and the school stops the open campus lunch. When they closed open campus that just about killed that place. People say that it was bad because of drugs and the teens. But the lady who ran it kept her eye out for stuff like that and banned dealers from the place. I mean most drugs were being transfered in the park and at a certain bar near by. I really missed that place after it closed.

No matter how hard she tried to keep it open. The city just kept pushin and pushin for Riverside to close down. I used to hang out there when i was a kid, and I would have had a really boring childhood without it.

there are other things for kids to do --- not much i know but there are... i never hung out there - i found other things to do -- maybe I didn't need that kind of atmoshphere --- I hung with friends at there houses, we went shopping all the time - out for lunch and stuff like that -- i am also a female -- so maybe the poolhall was a guy thing :-)
